Who is responsible
Loanboo.com is the controller for the personal data processed on the platform. Questions about your data go to the support address in the footer.
What we collect
Account data (name, company, registration number, email, phone, country), the content you publish as a borrower, contact requests you send or receive, document download events, project view statistics, consent records, payment records for platform fees, and email campaign delivery, open and click data for Loanboo MAX.
Why we process it
To operate the marketplace (contract), to publish and market financing requests you have asked us to publish (contract), to report activity on your own project to you (legitimate interest), to comply with accounting and legal obligations, and — separately and only with your consent — to send you loan opportunities by email.
Lead and download identity
When a registered, logged-in user downloads a document or submits a contact request on a project, the borrower is shown who it was. This is stated openly on the project page before you download. Anonymous visits are counted, never profiled.
Consent
Acceptance of the platform terms and the privacy policy is required to hold an account. Marketing consent is separate, is never bundled with the required acceptance, and can be withdrawn at any time in your profile or through the unsubscribe link in every email. Every consent is stored with its type, version, timestamp and user.
Retention
Account and project data is retained while the account is active. Payment records are retained as long as accounting law requires. Leads, analytics and inactive accounts are retained for a configurable period and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can export your profile data and consent history from your profile page, correct your data, withdraw marketing consent, and request deletion. Deletion anonymises your account; records that must be retained for legal reasons are kept without personal identifiers.
Sharing
Contact details you submit in a contact request are sent to the borrower of that project. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not sell personal data.
Important information
Loanboo is a digital advertising and contact platform. Loanboo does not provide investment, lending, credit or financial advice. Loanboo does not determine interest rates or other loan terms and does not make credit decisions. Loanboo is not a party to any loan agreement presented through the platform and does not receive or transfer loan funds. Information published on Loanboo is provided by the borrower. Potential lenders are responsible for conducting their own assessment, due diligence and obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate. Any financing agreement is entered into directly between the borrower and lender.
